Research Experience and Accomplishments:

Dr. Liu is working in the field of biomaterials and nanomedicine. The primary goal of his research team is to develop innovative materials and nanotechnology for biomedical imaging and cancer therapy. Starting from 2005, Dr. Liu has authored over 280 peer-reviewed papers, which have received a total citation of > 44,000 times and given him an H-index at 105.  He was listed as one of the ‘Most Cited Chinese Researchers (Materials Science)’ by Elsevier from 2014, as well as one of the ‘Highly Cited Researchers (Chemistry, Materials)’ by Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters) from 2015.
