Ms Yandong Liu, Vice Premier of the State Council and member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, inspected NANO-CIC, CNST & FUNSOM on April 24, 2015. She was accompanied by top-ranking government officials from Jiangsu Province and Suzhou City, including Governor of Jiangsu Province Mr Xueyong Li and Party Secretary of Suzhou City Mr Taifeng Shi.

President of Soochow University, Prof. Xiulin Zhu, briefed about the facts and development of the university. Prof. Shuit-Tong Lee elaborated on the founding and development of NANO-CIC.
