The 1st Bilateral Workshop on Nanotechnology between Soochow University and Trinity College Dublin (TCD) took place on Dushu Lake Campus, Soochow University, on January 7-9, 2015.
The workshop was attended by 8 visitors from TCD and 7 members of faculty from CNST. 12 academic presentations were delivered on the latest achievements in the area of nanotechnology.
During the visit, a meeting was also held to discuss further possible cooperation between the two institutes, including a visiting program for faculty and students, joint PhD programs, and research projects.

Through the workshop, a friendly and cooperative relationship between SU and TCD has been established. More joint programs will be developed in the near future.
