The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) has announced the Awardees of the IUPAC 2017 Distinguished Women in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, Prof. Lifeng Chi from FUNSOM/CNST is in the list.

The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) is the world authority on chemical nomenclature and terminology, including the naming of new elements in the periodic table; on standardized methods for measurement; and on atomic weights, and many other critically-evaluated data.

Prof. Lifeng Chi is a professor at Soochow University. Her research focuses onsupramolecular chemistry on surfaces, in particular molecular assembly andreactions, molecular patterning, and structured functional surfaces.
