
JIE, Jiansheng, Professor & Ph.D. Advisor
Prof. Jie is an NSFC Distinguished Young Scholar, an NSFC Excellent Young Scholar, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). He has been selected for the National Hundred, Thousand, and Ten-Thousand Talents Project and the Ministry of Education's New Century Excellent Talents Program. In recognition of his outstanding academic impact, he was awarded the Special Government Allowance by the State Council and honored as a National Outstanding Young Expert with Prominent Contributions.

Research Summary & Achievements
Prof. Jie focuses primarily on the controllable preparation of large-area organic single crystals, high-performance organic single-crystal transistors, and their cutting-edge applications in flexible, wearable, and bio-inspired electronic devices. He has authored over 300 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious journals, including Nature Electronics, Nature Communications, and Advanced Materials, with more than 150 papers published in journals with impact factors exceeding 10. His work has garnered over 20,000 citations, yielding an h-index of 74. Among these, over 30 papers have been recognized as "ESI Highly Cited Papers" by the Web of Science, with several featured as annual hotspots or research highlights by Nature Materials, Nature Electronics, and other leading academic journals. Reflecting his global academic impact, Prof. Jie has been continuously recognized as one of the "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" (Materials Science and Engineering) by Elsevier since 2020, and ranks among Stanford University’s "World's Top 2% Scientists." In terms of technology transfer, he has filed over 40 invention patents, with 28 officially granted. Active in the academic community, Prof. Jie serves as an Associate Editor for Organic Electronics, a Senior Editorial Board Member for Chinese Chemical Letters, and an Editorial Board Member for Journal of Physics: Materials. He has led or participated in around 20 major national research funds, including the NSFC Distinguished Young Scholars Program, the NSFC Excellent Young Scholars Program, the Innovation Team Program of NSFC, and the National Major Research Program (973 Program). His pioneering contributions have been recognized with numerous prestigious honors, including the First and Second Prizes of the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award, and the Second Prize of the Anhui Science and Technology Award.
