Associate Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Dr. William S. Wong is an Associate Professor at the University of Waterloo in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Wong received his PhD in materials science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1999. Following 10 years as senior member of research staff at the Palo Alto Research Center (formerly Xerox PARC) he joined the faculty at University of Waterloo in 2010. While at PARC, Professor Wong’s research focused on large area electronics where he began programs in printed electronics for Hydrogenated Amorphous Silicon (a-Si:H) Thin Film Transistor (TFT) fabrication, silicon nanowire synthesis and flexible electronics for image sensor and display applications.
