Academician Chi Lifeng Appointed Associate Editor of the Prestigious International Journal ACS Nano

On December 29, 2022, ACS Nano announced new appointments to its editorial team. Effective January 1, 2023, Professor Chi Lifeng, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) from our college (Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials, Soochow University), will serve as an Associate Editor of ACS Nano. Congratulations to Academician Chi Lifeng!

ACS Nano, established by the American Chemical Society (ACS) in 2007, is a premier international journal in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. It publishes innovative research findings and cutting-edge solutions covering chemistry, physics, biology, materials science, and nanotechnology. The journal's Impact Factor is 18.027 (2021).

Academician Chi Lifeng: A Brief Introduction

Chi Lifeng is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials (FUNSOM), Soochow University. In 2011, she was selected for the National High-Level Overseas Talents Recruitment Program (China's "Thousand Talents Plan"). She received the ACS Nano Lectureship Award (2016) and the IUPAC Distinguished Women in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Award (2017). In 2020, she was elected as a Foreign Member of Academia Europaea and a Founding Fellow of the Chinese Chemical Society. In 2021, she was elected as an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Academician Chi Lifeng has long been engaged in research on molecular assembly and reactions at surfaces and interfaces within the field of physical chemistry, achieving systematic and innovative results. She has published nearly 500 SCI-indexed papers. She has led more than 20 national-level research projects, including Major Research Plans and Major Scientific Instrument Development Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), National Key R&D Programs of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Strategic Cooperation Projects, and key projects of the National 973 Program.
