10 Researchers from FUNSOM Appear on the 2023 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers List

Recently, Elsevier released its highly anticipated 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list, which includes 5,801 scholars from 496 universities, enterprises, and research institutions. Soochow University has 33 scholars on the list, of which 10 are from FUNSOM. Congratulations to all these researchers!

Elsevier's 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list covers 10 subject areas and 84 first-level disciplines as defined by the Ministry of Education of China. The list uses Scopus, a globally authoritative citation and abstract database, as the statistical source for Chinese scholars' research outputs, and employs a methodology developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. In recent years, the "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list has attracted significant attention from domestic and international media and scholars, offering insights into the composition of advantageous disciplines at various Chinese institutions and universities, as well as the distribution of top talent in key technological research areas and key fields.
