Function and applications

Vevo® LAZR adopts photoacoustic imaging technology. It integrates photoacoustic signals with anatomical ultrasound images, combining the high sensitivity of optical imaging and the high resolution of ultrasound imaging. The system supports real-time 2D and 3D in vivo imaging to track rapid dynamic changes in organisms. Meanwhile, it enables co-registration of   photoacoustic and ultrasound images, precisely localizing the in vivo origin of photoacoustic signals. The Vevo® LAZR photoacoustic imaging system can be applied to research fields including tumor microenvironment, hemodynamics,   nanomedicine materials, tumor biomarker molecules, etc., providing researchers with real-time, high-resolution and high-sensitivity in vivo images.
