To strengthen new faculty teaching skills and foster experience sharing, a classroom teaching workshop was held on September 21, 2026. The event provided a platform for new teachers to demonstrate their skills and exchange ideas with senior faculty.
Displaying natural teaching style and clear thinking, three new teachers delivered targeted teaching segments from courses they plan to teach, using methods such as case introductions and question-driven instruction.
After each presentation, an expert panel composed of Profs. Yang Liu, Bin Dong, Ziyuan Song, and Tao Wang provided detailed feedback on teaching objectives, content organization, methods, interaction and lesson plan design. They affirmed the new teachers' strengths and offered practical suggestions for improvement.
In the discussion session, the panel and new teachers exchanged views on designing effective teaching segments, regulating pace, stimulating student interest, and planning future courses.
The trial teaching workshop is a regular, signature event of our college, serving as a key platform for faculty to demonstrate, share, and enhance teaching abilities, and fostering a culture of mutual learning and reflective practice.
