题目：Nitroxides as reagents in materials science and novel on-surface reactions

摘要：

In the lecture the use of nitroxides as reagents in materials science is discussed. In particular radical carboaminoxylation mediated by the persistent radical effect for modification of dendrimers, polymers, inorganic materials and Si-wafers is presented. Novel regulators for conduction of nitroxide mediated radical polymerization are introduced and photochemical postmodification of polymers and inorganic materials is discussed. Finally, recent achievements from Münster on the active and emerging area of two-dimensional on-surface chemistry are disclosed.

1995-1996             Postdoctoral stay as a fellow of the Swiss National Science Foundation at the University of Pittsburgh (USA) in the laboratory of Prof. Dr. D. P. Curran.

1996-2000                       Oberassistent in the laboratory of organic chemistry at the ETH in Zurich.

2000                     Habilitation in October 2000.

2000-2004             Associate professor of organic chemistry (C3) at the Philipps-University Marburg.

2004-2009             Full professor (C4) of organic chemistry at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster; director of the institute of organic chemistry.

2009                     Full professor (W3) of organic chemistry at the Westfälische Wilhelms-University Münster; director of the institute of organic chemistry.
