| 题目: | Motion-Based Glucose Sensing Based on A Fish-Like Enzymeless Motor | | | | | 作者: | Mingtong Li, Hui Zhang, Mei Liu and Bin Dong* | | | | | 单位: | Institute of Functional Nano & Soft Materials (FUNSOM), Collaborative Innovation Center of Suzhou Nanoscience and Technology, Soochow University, 199 Ren-AiRoad, Suzhou 215123, China. | | | | | 摘要: | In this paper, we report a fish-like enzymeless motor, which consists of a phenylboronic acid modified poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) hydrogel and a surfactant, i.e. sodium dodecyl sulfate. The motor is capableof moving autonomously upon exposure to the glucose molecule. This phenomenon originates fromthe complication glucose and phenylboronic acid, which leads to the swelling of the hydrogeland the release of the surfactant, thus propelling the whole structure based on the Marangoni effect. Interestingly, the motors movingvelocity is directly proportional to the glucose concentration. Through the introduction of a magnetically responsive material, the motion direction of the motor can bemanipulated. More interestingly, the combination of the glucose-dependent motion and magneticallysteerable motion allows us to directly visualize the glucose concentration in human serum or urine. Wethus believe that the motor reported in the current study may have potential for application in the fieldof glucose sensing for the detection and monitoring of diabetes. | | | | | 影响因子: | 5.256 | | | | | 分区情况: | 一区 | | | | | 链接: | http://pubs.rsc.org/-/content/articlehtml/2017/tc/c7tc01122a |
