Program Overview
The"Silk Road"Scholarship Program is established by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) to support outstanding international students pursuing graduate studies in China. The program at Soochow University focuses on the following disciplines:

RMB 3,000/month for Master's students

Note: Scholarship recipients must attend and pass the annual review each academic year to maintain their scholarship for the following year.
Application Process
1. Soochow University Application
Log into the Soochow University International Student Service System, fill out the required information (select “Chinese Government Scholarship” as the financial resource), and upload the necessary documents before May 30, 2025.

Required Application Documents
Important Notes
All applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of RMB 650 through the online application system.
Scholarship recipients must pay the insurance fee of RMB 800/person/year before arriving in China; reimbursement will be arranged upon admission.
Due to limited dormitory availability, on-campus housing will be arranged based on actual conditions.
Students are responsible for purchasing textbooks and paying any required laboratory or equipment fees according to their department’s regulations.
