Peptide-based biomaterials；

Research Experience and Accomplishments:

Our research aims to create cutting-edge delivery systems for biomacromolecules and exploit their application to solve complex biological problems associated with human diseases. One major research goal is to develop biomacromolecular delivery carriers for antibodies, enzymes, and nucleic acids, and explore the mechanisms of these carriers for delivering macromolecular drugs across physiological barriers. We also develop novel local drug delivery strategies and overcome various therapeutic barriers in treating ocular, pulmonary, bladder, and central nervous diseases. Additionally, we advance a series of safe and efficient formulations for macromolecular drugs and study their potential in enhancing immunotherapy for cancer, autoimmune, and inflammatory diseases. Our ultimate goal is to achieve clinical translation.
